While part of Porter Township School Corporation, the Porter Township Education Foundation cannot accept or use any school funds (i.e., tax revenues, state or federal funding). As such, the Education Foundation relies solely on donations to fulfill its mission.

The Education Foundation operates under the umbrella of the Porter County Community Foundation, Inc., an Indiana not-for-profit corporation and a qualified 501(c)(3) exempt organization. Porter County Community Foundation oversees management and investment of donations in a restricted fund and performs various administrative tasks for the benefit of the Education Foundation. Donations made directly are tax deductible.

To make a donation:
Your check, made payable to Porter Township Education foundation, may be hand delivered to a building principal or the Administration Office staff, or mailed to the Administration Office at 248 South 500 West, Valparaiso, Indiana 46385.
