THE MISSION OF THE PORTER TOWNSHIP EDUCATION FOUNDATION IS TO ENHANCE AND IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE PORTER TOWNSHIP SCHOOLS

Thank you for your interest in the Porter Township Education Foundation.  Contributions to the Foundation help to provide educational opportunities for the Porter Township community.

The Porter Township Education Foundation supports the works of Porter Township School Corporation through a variety of activities including scholarships to graduating seniors, grants to teachers and funds for special school projects.  By way of example, the Education Foundation currently maintains the following scholarships:

• Fine Arts Scholarship – awarded to student(s) pursuing a career in drama, music, art and/or culinary arts;
• Health Field Scholarship – awarded to student(s) pursuing a career in health services;
• Keller Scholarship – awarded to student(s) pursuing a career in law enforcement or public safety;
• King Scholarship – awarded to student(s) pursuing a career in a collegiate golf team;
• Peterson Scholarship – awarded to student(s) pursuing a career in education; and
• Vocational Scholarship – awarded to student(s) pursuing a career in pursuing post-secondary education at a vocational institution.

These activities have been made possible by donations from individuals and organizations throughout the years. It is the Education Foundation’s goal to maintain and expand these invaluable opportunities for the students of our community.
